Abram called on the name of the Lord
fai ai ‘e ‘Epalame ‘ene lotu ‘i he huafa ‘o Sihova
Senesi 13 (Genesis 13)
(v. 4) to the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord.
(v. 4) ‘a e potu na‘e tu‘u ai ‘a e ‘ōlita ne ne ngaohi
‘i he kamata anga: pea na‘e fai ai ‘e ‘Epalame ‘ene lotu ‘i he0 huafa ‘o
Sihova.
*Commentary: Matthew
Poole*
Unto the place of the altar, i. e. where the altar was; for the altar itself was either fallen down, as being probably built of earth, as afterwards, Exod. 20: 24, or overthrown by the wicked Canaanites. He worshipped God by prayer, and preaching to his family, Gen. 18:19, and offering sacrifices. See Gen. 4. 26; 12:8
potu na‘e tu‘u ai ‘a e ‘ōlita. ‘a e potu naʻe ‘i ai ‘a e ‘olita; mahalo naʻe holo ‘a e ‘olita, he naʻe ngaohi pe mei he kelekele (‘Eki 20:24) pe, naʻe kapa ‘e he haʻa Kenani´. Naʻa ne hū ki he ‘Otua´ ‘i he lotu, mo e malanga ki hono famili (Sen 18:19) pea mo e ‘atu feilaulau (Sen 4:26; 12:8).

GOD IS . . . (KO
E ‘OTUA, ‘OKU . . )
Knowing God
This study thus seeks to give you a sight of God and Christ and of how God's attributes affect your Christian living. To the degree that I can actually do this, as well as make complex theological concepts plain, I will regard myself a most blessed teacher, namely, one helping people know and love God in a better, clearer, and more informed way. The object of this book (study) is to cultivate "in Spirit and truth” worshipers—the very kind God seeks (John 4:24).
Ko e ako ‘oku tau fai, ‘oku ne feinga ke ‘omi kiate

Lord help us to cultivate, coming to your altar as a habit of ours. In Jesus' name. Amen.
ReplyDeleteHebrews 13:15
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
🙏🏽 Praise God! And my prayer as well for our young people (singles & couple couples) to make “this” a priority. Honoring our great God with ourselves, gifts & treasures. That His Kingdom may continue to expand here on earth as we await His return.
