OBSERVATION

John the Baptist had faith that the ancient prophecies had come true with the arrival of Jesus. What stands out about John is the fact that he's willing to pave the way for the arrival of the Messiah rather than just pave the way to his own success. The best leaders are those capable of demonstrating humility.

APPLICATION

Think of one way you can help pave the way for someone else to be successful. Their success will be your success.

PRAYER

Father help me be a positive impact in the lives of others by helping them achieve their goals. Give me a sense of purpose and satisfaction by helping others see their dreams come true
