SCRIPTURE
"For God so loved the worid that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. " John 3:16

OBSERVATION
This is quite possibly the most-quoted and most-memorized verse in the entire Bible. This may be due to the fact that if the entire Bible were whittled down to just one verse, this would be it. God sent Jesus so those who place their faith in Him can have  everlasting life in heaven with God.

APPLICATION
Jesus is not only the reason for the season, but He's the reason for life. When we realize that we are created for the purpose of a relationship with Him, no longer do we just honor Jesus during Christmas time, but we honor Him every day of the year through our words and our actions.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your one and only Son for me. Thank you for such a significant gift, and help me to be grateful not just today, but every day of my life
Amen.

Ko e hai ‘oku fakataumu‘a ki ai ‘a e veesi? fakamatala –
(Who is the main player of this famous verse? why?)

(What word or name from today’s verse that gives us hope as we wait on God for things we pray for or are fearful of? – explain your response)
