“God keeps His word”

SCRIPTURE
"The days are coming,' declares the LORD, when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah."
Jeremiah 33:14

OBSERVATION
While God had promised centuries earlier that He would send a Savior to rescue His people, here He reminds them that He hasn't forgotten His promise. Even though it can seem like a long time, God always keeps His promises.

APPLICATION
Have faith that the promises you find in the Bible are God's promises and that He always keeps His word. Even if you wish He'd honor His promises sooner, trust Him anyways. His ways and His timing are better than your ways and what you wish.

PRAYER
God, help me to be reliant upon you and trust that your timing is always best. Amen.

Ko e hā ‘a e fo‘i lea ‘i he veesi ‘o e ‘aho ní  ‘oku ne tuhu‘i mai ‘a e me‘a ‘e fai ‘e he ‘Otuá ?
(What word from today’s verse points to what God will do when the time comes? )

(What assurance or guarantee that God will actually do what He says He will do? )
