“God of order”

Psalm 86:8-10, 15
There is none like you among the gods, O Lord,
nor are there any works like yours. All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God. ... But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

Commentary - Jonathan Edwards - cont.

‘Oku hā mahino ‘a e moʻoni ko eniʹ, ‘oku ‘ikai ha fetoʻoaki ‘i he tūkunga hono fakalele mo e fokotuʻutuʻu ‘o e maama ko eniʹ, koeʻuhiʹ he naʻe maau mo maʻopoʻopo ‘a hono meʻa kotoa mei he kamataʻangaʹ; hangē ko ia ‘oku eʻa ‘i he fotunga mo e fokotuʻutuʻu ‘o e fakatupuʹ, naʻe tokamuʻa pe hono tanupou ‘e he ‘Otuaʹ ‘a e meʻa kotoa ‘i he fakatupuʹ, ke tupulaki mo tukungamālie ‘a e meʻa kotoa ‘i he ‘univesiʹ.

And it is manifest, in fact, that God is not careless how the affairs and concerns of the world he has made proceed, because he was not careless of this matter in the creation itself; as it is apparent, by the manner and order in which things were created, that God, in creating, took care of the future progress and state of things in the world.
