FAITH CREATES CONFIDENCE

‘OKU FAKATUPU ‘E HE TUI ‘A E LOTO PAU’IA

EPHESIANS 3:11-12

This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.

‘EFESO 3:11-12

‘A ia ko e tu‘utu‘uni talu mei mu‘a, pea fai ‘ia Kalaisi Sīsū ko hotau ‘Eiki; ‘a ia ‘oku tu‘unga ai ‘etau ta‘emālū‘ia ni, mo ‘ene apaapangofua ke tau hoko atu, he‘etau fai falala, ko e tupu ‘i he‘etau tui ki He‘ene ‘Afio.

Sola Fide - Faith Alone - Ko e Tui´ pe

To be assured of one's salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is not at all arrogance or presumption. It is established that to be assured of one's salvation through faith is not only neither presumption nor arrogance, but, on the contrary, is the sole means of stripping oneself of all pride, to give all glory to God. Faith alone teaches us to go out of ourselves, and compels us to Jesus Christ. It teaches us and assures us that we shall find salvation before God through His righteousness alone.

Truly, all that is in Jesus Christ, that is to say, all the righteousness and perfection (in Him there was no sin, and moreover He has fulfilled all the righteousness of the Law), is placed to our account and gifted to us as if it were our own, provided that we embrace Him by faith.
