This Bible is a Book of authority, it is an authorized Book, for God has written it. Oh, tremble, tremble, lest any of you despise it; mark its authority, for it is the Word of God. Then, since God wrote it, mark its truthfulness.
This is the Word of God; come search, ye critics, and find a flaw; examine it from its Genesis to its Revelation, and find an error. This is a vein [vault] of pure gold, unalloyed by quartz, or any earthy substance. This is a star without a speck, a sun without a blot! A light without darkness; a moon without its paleness; a glory without a dimness. O Bible!
It cannot be said of any other book that it is perfect and pure, but of thee we can declare all wisdom is gathered up in thee, without a particle of folly. This is the judge that ends the strife where wit and reason fail. This is the book untainted by any error; it is pure, unalloyed, perfect truth. Why? Because God wrote it.

Chapter 30 “The sayings of Agur” . Verse 5: “Every” used to refer to all the individual members of a set without exception.
ReplyDelete“Word” An utterance.
“Of God” our creator.

“Refuge in him” shelter or protection from danger or distress.
What I got from this was that Agur valued and explained the purity of Gods word. It’s remind me that Gods word is pure & because it’s pure it can and should be trusted. God gives his word to protect his people if they will use the wisdom and encouragement of his word to put their trust in him. Wow!!! When you break it down into context or atleast I tried again lols you realize how much of Gods word is perfect. All he wants us to do is acknowledge that his word is PURE & that we need to put our trust into him & he will protect us! He is our safe pace!! Thank you for todays reminder💙🙏🏽
“Every” means - the totality - nothing lacking - even the things we hold back from God! His “Word” ((Scripture) and “words” (sayings) ALL of it - the very Breath of God!! “FLAWLESS”
Delete“Oh Lord, help us and burn in and through us! Holy Spirit, you are our Guide and Helper! Continue your work in our young people’s lives. You are our refuge - the most secure location. Thank you, in Jesus’s Name. Amen.”
Malie Seta, on it. Keep at it.
DeleteAmen! 🙏🏽🙌🏽
DeleteEvery---nothing is left out. Includes all
ReplyDeleteWord---thoughts written or spoken verbally to relate a message or idea.
of God---the one and only heavenly father
is flawless--- perfect, without blemishes,
he is--- God
a shield---protection, defense,
to those---making a choice, specific people
who take refuge----take cover, safety,.
God is always there for us he offers protection and safety for anyone that needs it. He also gives us free will to choose to accept it and not force. The choice is ours. Like Joshua 24:15 says, Who will you choose this day.
It's a message and reminder for our times of trials and tribulation. In the times that we are down we as human tend to turn to our careers, jobs our wealth, friends in looking for refuge but the only true refuge is in God's word.
Praise God! Why wouldn’t we seek protection from someone who’s the definition of truth. Where are we going when we want to be protected or seeking refuge?
