THE HIDDEN MYSTERIES OF SCRIPTURE

KO E NGAAHI MISITELI FUFŪ ‘O E FOLOFOLA´

The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.

PSALM 12:6

Ko e folofola ‘a Sihova ko e ngaahi lea ‘asinisini; Ko e siliva kuo fakama‘a‘i he fōnise ‘i he kelekele, kuo tu‘o fitu hono sivi.

SAAME 12:6

Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone - Ko e Folofola´ pe

Hitherto our chief object has been to stretch out our hand for guidance of such as are disposed to learn, nor war with the stubborn and contentious; but now the truth which was calmly demonstrated must be vindicated from the calumnies of the ungodly. Still, however, it will be our principal study to provide a sure footing for those whose ears are open to the Word of God. Here, if anywhere, in considering the hidden mysteries of Scripture, we should speculate soberly and with great moderation, cautiously guarding against allowing either our mind or our tongue to go a step beyond the confines of God's Word.

For how can the human mind, which has not yet been able to ascertain of what the body of the sun consists, though it is daily presented to the eye, bring down the boundless essence of God to its little measure? Nay, how can it, under its own guidance, penetrate to a knowledge of the substance of God while unable to understand its own? Wherefore, let us willingly leave to God the knowledge of Himself.

  1. Message I’ve gained from this mornings devotion is to seek God daily to know what He’s trying to tell us. Sometimes I catch myself trying to be a witness to others, and then question myself if that’s what the Bible actually says. I’m not going to say that I know everything the Bible talks about because I’m not constantly in His Word. Matthew 6:33 is the verse that came to mind while reading this so if I continue to seek the Lord through is Word, God will show me His righteousness 🙏🏼

Gods word is perfection. Trustworthy & honest through & through.
Gods word IS THE ONLY TRUTH .

    - May we identify the works dishonest and unkind language & May we not be the world.
    - Instead cling to Gods flawless words of unbreakable promises & stay there.

  4. I second that. His word are flawless. Nothing else to it. What a powerful word. We live, learn and teach his words without worry for every word has been purified and refined. Amen
